The firm is dedicated to aviation safety and to maintaining security
and minimizing risk and exposure to flight crews, passengers,
flight personnel,
and flight departments. We represent passengers,
pilots, flight instructors, flight departments, and aviation management.
Alexander Penalta is a
private pilot, Single-Engine Land, with
pilot in command flight experience in the following aircraft: Cessna
152, 172, and 172XP, Piper Warrior, and the
Robinson R22 Helicopter.
Mr. Penalta is a member of several aviation related organizations,
an AOPA Legal Services Plan Panel Attorney, a Federal Express
Pilot Plan Attorney and an Associate Adjunct Professor at Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University. Alexander Penalta has taught Aviation
Law, Aviation
Insurance and Risk Management Law, and Federal
Regulations and Legal Ethics to pilots, flight instructors, flight
department personnel, aviation
management, Pratt & Whitney,
Sikorsky Aircraft Company and United Technologies American
and Russian rocket propulsion engineers and management
on legal issues
affecting the aviation industry including aviation
security, aircraft ownership, government sanctions, corporate
crimes, fixed base operator liability,
manufacturer liability, accidents,
injuries and death from the use and operation of aircraft, aviation
insurance, risk management, employment issues
pertaining
to aviation.
